The picture above shows the real setup of the RAFM. The instrument is placed on a non-accessible place at the university. This
is necessary because of its dust and the shock sensitivity. Such environmental effects can distort measurements strongly.
You can see in the picture the actual scan head, the sample robotics and stepper motors. Not visible is a electronic to connect the RAFM with
a computer.
